Sadly a downgrade from 20 Mpx to 16 Mpx Selfie camera in Note 9 pro which is disappointing for us as companies now a day’s try to upgrade cameras in their successor models. In the camera department our clear winner is Redmi Note 8 pro with all-around performance both in Rear and Selfie cameras.

On the front side we have waterdrop notch for Redmi note 8 pro and punch-hole display for Redmi note 9 pro which looks quite amazing. Both phones have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on rear/back which makes them look like premium phones. The fingerprint sensor in Note 8 pro is rear-mounted while in Note 9 Pro it’s side-mounted. This makes Redmi Note 9 pro more comfortable to used and a quick way to unlock the screen. In terms of design we would prefer Note 9 Pro due to its camera designs and fingerprint position.
